5 WEEK ACT DEVELOPMENT WITH BETTIE BOMBSHELL!
Performance showcase class via ZOOM/ recording.
 
Each lesson will be recorded and uploaded to a Dropbox for everyone to access anytime! If you are able to log into Zoom each Sunday 1pm - 3pm AEST we can work in person, if not that is okay! I will upload all of the class recordings (audio & video) and corse work each week. 
 
You will need to send through weekly progress videos so I can see how you're acts are coming along. I will reply with comments, advice and assistance!
 
When: Sunday June 15th, 22nd, 29th, Sunday July 6th & 13th.
Progress videos due each Sunday, Melbourne AEST.
Time: 1pm - 3pm
July 13th we have an extra 1.5 hours after class for a costuming session!
 
The act you create during our 5 weeks will be showcased at:
A Night Of Burlesque - Saturday 19th July

If you’re able to fly down to perform, that would be camp but if not, we will arrange together for you to perform your act at a local show!

During this 5 week course we will work on your solo acts in a supportive, encouraging and inspiring environment. We will hit the virtual studio every Sunday and create, edit, tweak, and elevate your work so you leave the course with a shiny new number that you simply adore! You will have access to Bettie and their burlesque brain for the entire term.
 
During the 5 weeks we will cover everything from choreography tips, goals, costuming & styling, inspirations, mental preparation, history and overall act creation. Each week will consist of a sit down learning & chat portion and a dance it out practical portion. Bettie will be checking in on your progress weekly answering any questions you have, as well as offering personal advice, tips, tricks and their expertise as you rehearse!
 
You will leave the course with an incredible new act, and a group of beautiful new burlesque pals. Community is key!

Conditions: You have attended burlesque classes / have an understanding of the art of burlesque.
You need to have your basic concept & music chosen in advance. You will rehearse your number in class and be committed to creating a completed act that will be ready for the stage.
 
What do you wear?
Anything that makes you feel comfortable darlings! This class wants you to feel gorgeous, so wear whatever helps you feel that way. Is it lingerie? Is it activewear? It is a giant garbage bag? Whatever it is, wear it!
 
Heels are optional in all my classes, bare feet are absolutely fine by me
